Important information about your Accident and Health coverage

Register on MyBenefits
Follow these simple steps to get started on MyBenefits:
Go to mybenefits.metlife.com.
Type in Hanger. Click Next. 
Click on the Register button and follow the step-by-step instructions. Once you’ve completed the registration process, we’ll send you a confirmation email.

Access your certificate
Once you’ve registered on MyBenefits, you can access your certificate online:

1. Click on the Claim Center tab and choose the appropriate product.
2. Use the I Want To... drop down menu to select View certificate. Your certificate details will open.
3. Click on the View My Most Recent Certificate or Schedule of Insurance link to download and print your certificate.

Update Beneficiaries
You can update your beneficiaries with the Hanger Resource Center online at HangerBenefits.com;  or call  1—800- 965-2236, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. CT.

File a claim
Submitting a claim is as simple as 1-2-3:

1. Go to mybenefits.metlife.com to submit your claim online1; or call us at 1-866-626-3705 to obtain a claim form1.
2. Answer some questions about your claim and upload your medical documentation to support your claim. The whole process takes just minutes!
3. Visit MyBenefits often to check claim status, letters and benefit payments.

A MetLife claims specialist will review your information, request any additional medical information (if necessary) and notify you in writing of a claim decision.
