Ramy Tadros is regional president of MetLife’s U.S. Business, head of MetLife Holdings and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Tadros oversees the company’s two industry-leading businesses in the United States: Group Benefits, the largest non-medical, commercial carrier in the U.S. group insurance industry, and Retirement & Income Solutions, a market leader across all products MetLife offers in the institutional annuity and life space. MetLife’s Group Benefits business includes managed vision care company Versant Health, which was acquired during Tadros’ tenure. Tadros also leads MetLife Holdings, which contains the closed block of businesses of the company’s former U.S. Retail segment. These businesses combine to represent more than 60 percent of the overall company’s earnings.
Tadros was MetLife’s executive vice president and chief risk officer from September 2017 to April 2019. Tadros joined the company from global management consulting firm Oliver Wyman, where he advised global insurers across North America, Europe and Asia.
Tadros is a member of the board of directors of MetLife Foundation. He graduated from Harvard University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, magna cum laude.
