For endowed faculty and staff with questions regarding plan information, contact MetLife: 800-942-0854. You can either provide your Cornell Employee ID or Social Security Number when prompted.

For dentists who want to become a participating in-network dentist, visit www.metdental.com or call 1-866-PDP-NTWK. The website and phone number are for use by dental professionals only.
For dentists who want to verify coverage or request a pre-treatment estimate for services call 1-877-MET-DDS9.
Endowed Cornell faculty and staff new hires, or those experiencing a qualifying life event such as marriage, divorce or birth, have 60 days from their date of hire or qualifying event to enroll or make changes in coverage. All other endowed faculty and staff can enroll or make changes to their coverage during the next Open Enrollment held in the fall for coverage effective the following January 1.
Like most group benefit programs, benefit programs offered by MetLife and its affiliates contain certain exclusions, exceptions, reductions, limitations, waiting periods and terms for keeping them in force. Please contact MetLife or your plan administrator for costs and complete details.
