Implementation

Benefits being offered are setup by the Benefits Configuration Management (BCM) API on the third-party platform to allow members to enroll in coverage. Real-time plan, structure, and rates data streamline plan set-up and reduce the implementation timeline.

Enrollment

Members elect coverages via a streamlined experience and utilize online digital solutions to complete Evidence of Insurability (EOI) with real-time decision delivered through our Evidence of Insurability (EOI) Status API. Coverage transactions and enrollment updates are submitted via EDI or real-time through Benefits Enrollment Management  (BEM) API.

Billing

MetLife enables effortless, accurate bills and payroll deductions with data integrations and no manual effort. Self-administered bills can be generated using data from the third-party platform through various solutions. The Billing API* will be an option that enables this transaction in real-time.

Claims

Employee Servicing solutions provide access to information within third-party platforms and claims information that flows seamlessly. Our flexible Absence Management solutions options will enable leave status reporting to the employer, specific to their needs. The Absence Management Leave Status API will automate this data transfer to the client.

Renewal 

Renewal actions and other plan changes occur and are transmitted to the third-party platform. The Benefits Configuration Management (BCM) API automates this process resulting in efficiency and data accuracy.
