Your ID card is your passport to accessing healthcare around the world. Please carry it with you and show it at your doctor’s office when accessing care.
ID card recognition
Where you have access to a local network – whether in the US or internationally – your ID card is cobranded with the network's logo in the top right corner.
When you show your ID card, providers and front desk personnel recognize the logo and you benefit from ID card recognition. Your experience at the doctor should be hassle-free, meaning:
- Front desk personnel should call MetLife to verify your eligibility.
- The provider will bill MetLife for the visit instead of you.1
- You will be billed at the negotiated rates established by MetLife.
Get your ID card
There are three ways to access your ID card:
Through eBenefits at eBenefits.metlife.com.
Through our mobile app (download from your app store by searching for “MetLife Worldwide”).
